Fifteen words from UIDBuy screens and shopper slang
| QC photos | The warehouse's pictures of your item on arrival. UIDBuy's free set covers three fixed angles; extra close-ups cost CN¥1 each. |

| GL, RL | Shopper shorthand, green light and red light, for keeping an item after the photos (GL) or asking for a return or exchange (RL). UIDBuy itself does not use the terms. |
| Stocked in | The status an item gets when it is in the warehouse and inspected. The 120-hour return window and the storage count start here. |
| Warehoused | The status the storage rules count from: 90 days for items UIDBuy bought, 60 for forwarded parcels. |
| Detailed photo | UIDBuy's name for a paid close-up shot to your brief, CN¥1 each, up to 20 per item. |
| Rehearsal packing | A trial run: the warehouse packs and weighs your items so you see the true weight first. CN¥20 per parcel. |
| Consolidation | Several stored items in one box, so the opening weight block is paid once. |
| First weight, continued weight | Route pricing in two parts: a fixed charge for the first block (often 500 g) and a charge for each further block. |
| Volumetric weight | Box volume turned into kilograms. UIDBuy's estimator divides cm³ by 6000; its help centre gives 5000. |
| Declaration | The value and description written on the customs form. UIDBuy offers a system mode and a personalised one. |
| Forwarding | Sending your own purchases to the UIDBuy warehouse for shipping on. Free storage is 60 days. |
| DIY order | An order for something you describe rather than link, handled by UIDBuy staff. |
| Haul | Shopper slang for a combined parcel, and for the unboxing that often follows online. |
| 均码 | One size. Fine on caps; a warning on garments. |
| Delivery Over 30 Days, 20% Shipping Back | The label on every UIDBuy route quote on 22 October 2026, part of the Deliver Late, Money Back campaign. |
