UIDBuy at a glance: the service, its warehouse and its rules
A short account of what UIDBuy does, what it says about itself, and where its own pages contradict each other. Everything here was read on uidbuy.com between 22 and 23 October 2026.
A buying service with one warehouse in Xiamen

UIDBuy works as a middleman: it orders from stores in China for you and forwards the goods to your country. Its about page puts it carefully: the platform coordinates sourcing and logistics, acts only as an intermediary, and never takes ownership of the products. In practice you paste a Taobao, Tmall or 1688 link (Weidian icons also sit in the search bar), pay for the item, and UIDBuy's staff place the order with the seller.
Everything lands at a warehouse in Xiamen, Fujian, where it is inspected, photographed and stored until you bundle it into a parcel. The site also offers DIY orders for things you describe yourself and a forwarding service for parcels you send in. Support runs through a live chat staffed around the clock, a Discord server, and an inbox at [email protected].
- Mascot: an orange fox in a UID cap and blue goggles; it appears on the home page, in the guide video and on the hero of this site.
- Colours: a bright blue (#186EF9 on its buttons) with a navy wordmark and a warm off-white page.
- Public tools without login: the help centre, the freight estimator and the beginner guide.
The catalog side: UIDBuy Spreadsheet as Fox Finds uses it
UIDBuy Spreadsheet, as used here, is a catalog of picked items you can browse by category: sixteen shelves of products from Chinese stores, each linking to a catalog page with photos and option menus, and to the same item on uidbuy.com. It is not a document and not a list of rows. Fox Finds adds three things to each item it picks: a reason it made the cut, the warehouse photos to open, and a note on sizing.
We are a separate, unofficial site. UIDBuy does not edit or approve what is written here, and we have no referral code with them; the links to uidbuy.com carry only a tag that tells them the visit came from this site.
Where UIDBuy is generous, and where it leaves some buyers short
What every agent does
Any shopping agent buys on your behalf, waits for the seller's parcel, photographs what arrives, stores it, and ships it in a combined box. That part is the same everywhere, so it is no reason to choose one over another.
What UIDBuy does differently
- A published price for close-ups: CN¥1 a photo, up to 20, with your own brief.
- A return window measured in hours (120) and a published fee ladder for returns, with the first each month free.
- A public estimator that shows every line and its labels without an account.
- A promise on every route on 22 October 2026: 20 per cent of shipping back if delivery takes more than 30 days.
- A warehouse in Xiamen that receives parcels from Guangdong suppliers in one to two working days.
When to look elsewhere
If you live in Australia, the estimator returned no line at all for a 1 kg parcel on 22 October. If you need a single clear figure for the service fee before you start, UIDBuy's help centre and its registration agreement give two different answers. If you plan to send in your own parcels rather than buy through the agent, the free storage drops from 90 to 60 days. And if you want electronics tested, no inspection here includes switching them on.
Where UIDBuy's own pages disagree
These are not hidden. They are things UIDBuy publishes in two places with two answers. We list both and do not choose.
| Topic | One page says | Another page says |
|---|---|---|
| Who runs it | About page: Xiamen Chengyuxin Technology Co., Ltd. alone | Contact page adds a Hong Kong company and UK UID Technology Co., Limited; the terms name UK ZAN Technology Co., Limited |
| Service fee | Help centre: none on regular platforms | Registration agreement: 8% of goods and 8% of shipping |
| Free photos | Home page: 3 to 5 | Help centre: usually 3; item page: 3 to 7 |
| Free storage | Home page: 90 days | Help centre: 90 days for purchases, 60 for forwarding |
| Countries | Home page: 200+ countries and regions | Page description: 50+ countries |
| Volume divisor | Estimator: divide by 6000 | Help centre: 5000, or 6000 to 8000 by carrier |
The help centre also reads like a template shared with other agents; some article titles use wording we will not repeat. The anti-counterfeit statement in the disclaimers is clear: UIDBuy says it refuses to procure or ship counterfeit goods and will refuse service to anyone trying to.
Agents doing the same job, and one near-twin

There are dozens of agents doing the same job, and they fall into two broad kinds. Full-service agents buy for you and ship, like UIDBuy. Forwarders only receive parcels you buy yourself and send them on; UIDBuy does both. Within the first kind, the differences that matter are the ones in the table above: how fees are stated, how many photos are free, how long storage lasts, and which routes reach your country.
One name is worth knowing because it looks so similar: CFans runs a site whose home page and beginner guide match UIDBuy's word for word, with the same office addresses. The two have different back ends, and we have not tested whether they share a warehouse. If you are weighing several agents, compare those four points on each site's own help pages; this site does not rank agents.
